Returns
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you are entitled to return the product within the first 14 days after receipt. The exact conditions under which this is possible, can be found in our General Terms & Conditions.
In short:
- Return period of 14 days.
- Return shipping costs are for the customer.
- Always return the product in its original packaging.
- Take into account a possible decrease in value when the product is returned after the packaging has been opened or if the product has been put into use.
- In case you receive a defective product, you may of course return it. We will then test the product and if necessary, repair or replace it.

Blumat strongly supports a sustainable ordering and shipping process. We therefore want to limit unnecessary movement of goods as much as possible. Before you return a product, we therefore ask you to contact our customer service first, to see if we can perhaps solve your problem in a different way.
Also, if an order has been refused at the door or couldn’t be delivered because of a faulty address, the extra (shipping) costs incurred by the delivery company will be charged to the customer.
In the event of a defect, you can help us by sending us photos via email. To protect our database, we ask to only send us JPEG files.
The Right of Withdrawal
In the context of the Distance Selling Act, the customer is entitled to a 'cooling off period' of 14 days after delivery of the product when making purchases via the Internet. During this period, you have the right to withdraw from the contract without stating reasons. This means that within this period a product may be returned for a refund. In this case, the customer is responsible for all postage costs originating from the return.

If you have changed your mind about an order placed via this site and you wish to return the goods, please do so as soon as possible after receipt. Because shipment is always at the expense and risk of the customer, the package must be properly packaged and sufficiently stamped (as insufficiently stamped mail will be refused by the postal service). When the returned goods are complete, 'if possible' in original packaging and unused, we will refund the amount paid by you to your account as soon as possible. If you paid by credit card, we ask you to provide us with your account details (IBAN number and name).
Refund
When the right of return is applied correctly, both parties are obliged to reverse the mutually performed performances. If the customer cannot return the received product, only partially or in a deteriorated condition, the customer will have to compensate for the decrease in value. However, this does not apply if the depreciation can only be traced back to checking the product received, as would have been possible, for example, in a (home)shop or hardware store. Testing a lawnmower on grass is therefore a good example of what would not be possible and therefore is not allowed. The customer can limit the risk of depreciation if he does not put the goods into use and handles the product and packaging with care. When returning, for example, you may not write on the original packaging or cover it with duct tape. In the event of an adjustment or damage to the original packaging, the return shipment may not be processed.
